Duties:  Intervention teacher working in small groups around reading intervention to increase achievement in reading and assist with Fastbridge and BAS assessments

Family/Consumer Science Teacher (FACS) .4 FTE

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold a valid teaching license in the State of Minnesota.  Preference given to grades 5 – 12  Family and Consumer Sciences licensed applicants.

Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.

Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.

Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.

Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

WAGES:

Candidates will be placed on the teacher contract and will receive benefits according to the CEA contract.

Grade 2 Elementary Teacher (Long-Term Substitute)

Job Functions

Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods.  Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
Observe and evaluate students’ performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
