Center-Based DCD Paraprofessional- Centennial Elementary
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, general classroom clerical support, assisting students with hygiene needs, facilitating behavioral redirection and intervention, physically transferring students and assisting in ACE instructional job responsibilities. Jobs now available are (NOTE: the days/year are the usual, total annual days. Jobs starting after the beginning of the school year are prorated for the remainder of the school year):

Centennial Elementary School – 6.5 hrs/day –
8:45 AM to 3:45 PM

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required.
Demonstrated aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

WAGES: $16.09 per hour

Chief Financial and Operations Officer

The Hudson School District is seeking a Chief Financial and Operations Officer to begin July 1, 2022.  The District is looking for a collaborative financial leader who will be an active member of our leadership team.

Located in the scenic St. Croix River Valley, just fifteen miles east of the Twin Cities, the  Hudson School District covers approximately 77 square miles, including all or part of the City of Hudson, Village of North Hudson and the Townships of Hudson, St. Joseph, and Troy.  The District has six elementary schools: EP Rock, Hudson Prairie, Houlton, North Hudson, River Crest and Willow River; Hudson Middle School; and Hudson High School. The District employs approximately 800 staff and serves over 5,600 students in grades pre-Kindergarten through grade 12.  The District is the largest employer in St. Croix County.

Minnehaha Academy is seeking a part-time Business Office & Human Resources Assistant at our 3100 W River Parkway location.  Office hours are daytime, Monday through Friday.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Office & Operations

  • Distribute incoming mail to business office colleagues
  • Daily check deposit processing
  • Cash deposits, as needed
  • Daily invoice processing
  • Process bi-weekly employee expense reimbursements
  • Document scanning
  • Assist with coordination and coverage of the front desk
  • Support the Redhawk Shop, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Human Resources

  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing and review of register
  • Prepare supplemental and coaching contracts

LTS High School Math Teacher

Student Support Assistant

Job Summary
Under the direction of the building/department administration and/or guidance from the Student Support Specialist, supervise students in various settings and assist with managing student behaviors under established rules, policies and procedures.

Job Functions

Assist proactively with implementing individual student behavior plans.
Support managing student conflicts and behavior issues pre-emptively.
Record and manage student behavioral data.
Respond to unexpected situations as needed.
Provide overall supervision to groups or individual students.
Utilize positive behavior strategies and de-escalation techniques with students.
Be a positive role model for respectful behavior and problem solving strategies.
Communicate with students and staff in a positive and supportive manner.
Help to create and maintain positive, safe environments throughout the school building and school grounds (i.e. gym, lunchroom, classroom, hallways, playground).
Cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with all students, staff, families and community members.
Adhere to staff and program guidelines and district procedures and policies.
Demonstrated prompt, regular and reliable attendance

Student Supervisor – Cafeteria (four positions)

Job Summary
Supervise students under established rules, policies and procedures in hallways and lunchroom.

Job FunctionsSupervise students in lunchroom, hallways .
Supervise students during breakfast or lunch periods.
Oversee breakfast or lunch clean up.
Clean and sanitize tables between lunch periods.
Inform maintenance of any spills that need to be taken care of in the lunchroom.
Ensure students line up and move about the lunchroom and hallways in an orderly and safe manner.
Communicate with students in a positive and supportive manner.
Assist with creating and maintaining a positive and safe environment for all students.
Manage student conflicts using established procedures and processes.
Intervene in inappropriate behavior and record major behavior issues on the office referral form.
Ensure students line up and move through school in an orderly and safe manner.
Be a positive example by modeling respectful behavior and using problem-solving strategies.
Cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with all students, staff, families and community members.
Adhere to staff and program guidelines and district procedures and policies.
Demonstrate prompt, regular and reliable attendance.
