Position Summary:  Provide coaching leadership in the overall operation of the Chaska HS Girls’ Soccer program.
Salary:  Based on CEA Master Agreement

Licensure Needed:  Minnesota Head Coaching Certification/Licensure or Ability to Obtain
Qualifications/Duties:

  • Coaching experience required
    Good communication skills; respect/recognition of youth needs, interest and accomplishment
    Soccer knowledge/experience
    Development of a comprehensive soccer program including by working in coordination with the AD in the following areas:
  • Parental Organization/Organization of Parent Pre-Season meeting
    Working with Youth Organizations
    Equipment/Uniforms
    Budget
    Transportation
    Fundraising
    End of Season Banquet
    Daily Practice Schedule
    Game Scheduling
    Monitor Student-athletes Academic Progress
    Public Relations
    Staffing of Lower Level and Assistant Coaches
    Attendance at Conference and Section Coaches Meetings
    Preparation and Promotion of Athletes for a Post High School Experience

Create, formulate, develop, and implement instructional objectives.
Create, formulate, develop and implement instructional activities.
Conduct classroom instruction/individual tutoring/counseling based on teacher created lesson plans, instructional units and/or individual needs:assess student performance to determine need for re-instruction alternated method and grades
create a supportive learning environment by using appropriate verbal and non-verbal reinforcing techniques.

determine potentially harmful situations and take steps to avoid exposure of the student to this

Position Purpose:  To provide clerical assistance to building staff members, track student attendance, manage building budget, greet staff, students and visitors. Be a team player.

Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:  See attachment. Background in finance and attention to detail preferred.

Benefits of Employment as of July 1, 2021:  Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Professional Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112.  This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
