Forest Lake Area Schools is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Curriculum Coordinator beginning fall 2021. This is a TOSA position that will report to the Director of Teaching & Learning and work districtwide across all departments K-12. The Curriculum Coordinator position includes four weeks of extended employment beyond the teacher contract year.
Responsibilities
Plan and facilitate instructional review to align instruction, assessment and curriculum materials/resources for all content areas K-12 with current state and/or national standards
Coordinate and provide guidance for curriculum writing and development
Support educators in modifying or augmenting existing coursework or developing new course content
Plan and facilitate in-district professional development opportunities for educators on evidence-based strategies and instructional best practices
Provide coordination, guidance, professional development and support for district programming including immersion, STEM, gifted/enrichment, Title I, new educator induction, technology integration, equitable instructional practices, etc.
