Math Teacher – High School 1.0 FTE, 2021-22 SY

Position: Math Teacher – 9th-12th (1.0 FTE for 2021-22 School Year)

North Lakes Academy is seeking an enthusiastic math teacher responsible for nurturing social-emotional and academic growth in their classroom by planning and implementing rigorous, student-centered daily lessons in literacy and math as well as other subject areas.

​

As a part of the teacher-leadership team, you will work directly with directors and colleagues to create an ambitious and engaging experience for math students. You’ll oversee the work of curriculum design, classroom management, and collaboration to engineer an effective, scalable, and reliable experience across our K-12 school platform and programs.

Help lead the design of the mathematics experience
Architect and guide new applications and project development,
Help guide curriculum and course development pace and rhythm in collaboration with department and school teams.
Establish and maintain program standards

Valid MN teaching license in math

Coordinator of Early Childhood Family Education and Minnetonka Preschool

We are looking for a dynamic leader to be our next Coordinator of ECFE and Minnetonka Preschool!

Job Duties:  Provide leadership in the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the Minnetonka Community Education Programs:  Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), Minnetonka School Readiness, Minnetonka birth-5 outreach programs, Home Visitor programs, MCEC child care, Minnetonka Preschool, and Child Family & Support Program (CFSP).  Serve on the MCE Leadership Team, the MCEC Leadership Team, the District Admin. Council.  Tour de Tonka Rest Stop Host.  Supervise, train, and evaluate all licensed and non-licensed staff in these programs.  Manage program budgets and financial expenditures.  This position may also include some teaching in the classroom.
