The Lower School has an opening for a part-time (50% of full-time) Art teacher beginning in at the end of September through the end of the school year.

Job Summary
Develop the student’s fullest acquisition of knowledge, skills, concepts, and attitudes.
Job Functions
Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
Observe and evaluate students’ performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
Deliver the district’s written, taught and assessed curriculum.
Maintain knowledge and skills with IB Program changes and updates.
Create a positive environment to ensure successful learning for all students.
Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children’s progress, and to determine priorities for their children’s social, emotional and academic growth.
Partner with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators in order to support students’ academic and social-emotional development.
Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
Adhere to all district policies and procedures.
Support the district’s mission, vision, values and strategic plan.
Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic issues or special academic interests.
Prepare objectives and outlines for courses of study, following curriculum guidelines or requirements of states and schools. Confer with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons promoting learning, following approved curricula.
Meet with other professionals to discuss individual students’ needs and progress.
Administer standardized, formative and state mandated assessments and interpret results to determine student strengths and areas of need.
Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.

Job Summary
Assist in providing a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate learning experience for all children and families.
Job Functions
Plan and implement curriculum, as directed by the teacher or Coordinator.
Provide a developmentally appropriate classroom – organized, safe and inclusive of learning centers.
Prepare/maintain supplies, snacks, equipment/materials and classroom environment, as appropriate.
Develop and maintain positive rapport, communication and interaction with each parent, child and staff member.
Provide positive behavior guidance to all children.
Greet each parent and child, request information from parents to best support each child and their learning style.
Assist with separation issues to support each child and parent.
Assist in implementation of strategies to promote the development of each child’s social, interpersonal, motor and readiness skills.
Observe, monitor, and record each child’s development and behavior, as needed.
Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Assist staff and participate as a team member to provide a quality program.
Respect confidentiality of students, families and staff members.
Implement program policies, procedures and philosophy to provide an engaged, positive learning environment for all.
Respond appropriately to emergency or crisis situations.
Attend staff, community education, district or staff development activities/meetings, as directed or necessary.
Remain flexible to assume duties as assigned.

The Richfield Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a full time, 12 month Health Services Supervisor. This position coordinates and oversees District health services for staff and students, planning, supervising and implementing the programs, services, operations of the district health services. The health services supervisor also directs the work of health services staff within buildings and programs providing skilled nursing services, nursing treatments, health assessments, evaluation, and program implementation. Duties of the job involve developing and implementing health- related policies and procedures, collaborating with public health and MN Department of Health on school related public health issues, leading district-wide health services, supporting the supervision of health personnel, planning and implementing programs to address health-related barriers to learning, promoting the wellness of students and staff, providing training for administrators and staff.
