Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper

The individual occupying the position of bookkeeper for Metro ECSU will become part of a team in providing financial support for Metro ECSU. This person will:

  • keep records of financial transactions for the organization
  • process payroll
  • maintain HR records for staff including but not limited to medical, dental, LTD, life insurance, flex spending account enrollment and maintenance, employee pension and TSA deductions
  • process federal and state tax returns
  • process accounts receivable and payable
  • provide orientation training on payroll and benefits for new employees (individual or small group)
  • and other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Job Summary
Adult Basic Education teachers work in classrooms delivering English as a Second Language, GED preparation and/or basic skills instruction to adult learners. Teachers must be knowledgeable of the needs and goals of learners from a wide range of ability levels.

Director of Special Services

Position:  Director of Special Services

FLSA Status:  Exempt

Full time, 12 month position

Salary Range: $125,000-$135,000, dependent upon experience and qualifications.

 

Position Purpose

Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Special Services is responsible for managing, directing and overseeing Special Education, Section 504, Health Services, English Learners, McKinney-Vento and other state and federal programs in order to provide free and appropriate public education to children B-21 with disabilities while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, mandates and requirements. Duties involve the supervision of special education staff, program development, program evaluation, fiscal/budget administration of special needs programming, and oversight of due process and compliance requirements.
