Educational Equity Coordinator

Position:  Educational Equity Coordinator

This position reports to the Assistant Superintendent and is full-time; 230 days per year.Summary:

Provide leadership in Educational Equity in efforts to reduce gaps in opportunity and achievement and develop systemic equity. This work requires collaboration with district and school leaders to create and maintain a culture of collaboration, collective inquiry, evidence-based decision making, continuous improvement, and equity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of the School District 197 Strategic Plan.
Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the Achievement and Integration Plan.
Lead and develop programs funded through Achievement & Integration, including AVID, parent engagement programs, partnerships with St. Paul Public School, and professional development.
Serve as Local Education Agency representative for the Office of Indian Education; support the development, implementation, and evaluation of the program.
Collaborate with and provide leadership, direction, coaching, and advice to school leaders and multiple district departments regarding equity to foster systemic equity in the district.
Lead professional development for school board, cabinet, administrators, instructional coaches, and other district staff.
Engage and lead community members and school staff in problem-solving to address conflicts regarding inter-cultural and equity issues.
Foster mutually beneficial relationships between the school district and parents and the larger community, especially marginalized communities.
Lead, support, supervise, and evaluate staff.
Remain current in the field.
Budget and manage funds including Achievement & Integration, American Indian Education, and Title VI; ensure compliance with state and federal grants guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.

Associate Principal

Summary:

The Associate Principal works as part of an administrative and leadership team to improve outcomes for all students while closing achievement, opportunity, and participation gaps.  A key area of work includes providing leadership and support to various departments, collaborative teams, programs, and individual teachers. Support student social, emotional, behavioral, and academic learning and development
Supervise school activities
Serve as part of the district leadership team and on district and community committees

Teacher- Mathematics
