Job Summary
This position exists to provide instruction in a well-managed and comprehensive instructional environment, which may include Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Educational Development Diploma (GED), High School Diploma, English as a Second Language and English Language Learning (ESL/ELL), post-secondary preparation, and related life skills. In addition, the position will work with Special Education students, developing curriculum and integrating methods of instructions to serve all types of learning styles in an individually-paced classroom. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide appropriate and effective classroom instruction in an individualized manner to students, including maintaining Personal Education Plans (PEP) for each student, and maintain a well-managed, comprehensive instructional environment.
- Perform all classroom administrative functions in a timely manner for accountability purposes.
- Compensation for the successful candidate will be commensurate with the level of education attained and number of years of prior teaching experience approved at the time of hire.
This position is located in a correctional facility and has direct contact with offenders.

Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: The Sr. Technology Associate is knowledgeable in computer, hardware, software, and basic networking. They provide support and training for users and other technology associates in regard to the operation of district technologies in more than one District school. This position is a member of the Instructional Support team consisting of the Digital Learning Coach, Technology Support Specialist, Information Innovation Learning Specialist, and Media Paraprofessional. This team supports the role of technology in teaching and learning. They also work to maintain the Technology Knowledge Base, Virtual Desktop Management, Mobil Device Management, and Google Administrative Console management. See website.
