Essential Job Functions

License / Education Requirements:  Minnesota special education teaching license(s).  Highly qualified in a core academic area(s) or can be certified highly qualified.

Job Responsibilities:  The licensed Special Education teacher works closely with the Early Childhood Special Education Team to support the development and implementation of the  special education services. The teacher collaboratively serves the student and famiily in evidence-based instructional practices.

Early Childhood Intervention Teacher (.8 FTE)

Edina Public Schools has an (.80 FTE) Early Childhood Special Education Department/Early Childhood Intervention position available beginning August 12, 2019.  This position will complete screenings and evaluations for children under the age of three and with the Early Learning Center preschool program for preschool students who are at risk for developing delays with literacy, language and math.
