PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Liaison between large format printer, phone, and security camera vendors
Maintain an effective Wi-Fi management environment
Responsible for imagining equipment
Services site hardware and software, or facilitates the management company to do so, for client and server computer, network, telephone and related peripheral equipment so that all site computers are usable.
Installs and moves equipment to provide staff use, including unpacking, placement, connections, and configuration.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs equipment to resolve failure, malfunction, or configuration issues; coordinates related warranty services with vendor and/or service provider.
Works with the management company to maintain integrity and continued operation of equipment at a component level to ensure that it functions according to district standards.
Works with the Technology Committee to ensure the updates and/or upgrades of equipment on both local and networked systems to provide continued use
Manages site voicemail boxes, phone extensions and local/networked computer accounts so that they are available for use, including creation, modification, deletion, and resetting per account or in batch.
Guides and directs best practices of computer systems use in order to provide staff proper access.
Prepares reports and maintains proper documentation concerning site technology so that recommendations can be made in a professional manner.
Gauges needs and advises on emerging technologies purchasing in order to align with district technology planning.
Provides design, implementation, and configuration of routing and switching equipment for topographical changes or deployment of new equipment
Works with the management company to configure systems to ensure efficient operations.
Works with the management company to ensure that systems maintenance procedures go smoothly (e.g. deployment of operating system patches, security hot fixes, security updates, backups).
Creates, monitors, and maintains accurate records, systems, and other documents.
Support school assembly technology needs
Attend professional development activities to supplement skill areas
Serve on the school Technology Committee
Other job related duties as assigned.
NOTE : Some lifting and carrying of materials may be required, typically less than 40 lbs.
