Technology Support Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Prequalify calls for help as a technical issue.
Use remote control of workstations when possible to solve simple issues.
Create and assign help desk tickets to proper functional queue with applicable priority.
Help with issues within capability (maximum 5-20 minute call length)
Forward unresolved issues to Supervision.
Cross-train on other Technology Lead or Specialist duties as needed.
Assist in deployment of new technology equipment.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor to accomplish the objectives and goals of the department.

Position Days/Hours:  Year-Round Position
School Year:Monday – Friday; 6:30am – 9:00am & 2:30pm – 6:00pm (30 hrs/week)
Summer: Monday – Friday; Hours will vary, but will not be a split shift (30 hrs/week)
Banded/Graded:  A-1-3; Tier 3
Salary:  $16.59/hr
*An extra $24.89/day will be earned when working a split shift on student contact days (max of 173 days)*

Responsible To:  Out of School Time Supervisor/Child Care Specialist

Position Purpose:  Lead program activities, give work direction to paraprofessionals, supervise students in the care program.

Qualifications:  Current first aid certification (have or willing to obtain within first 90 days); experience working with elementary aged children.

Physical Therapist – Extended School Year (ESY)

Edina Public Schools has an Extended School Year (ESY) Physical Therapist position available District-wide beginning July 2019 through August 2019.   Physical Therapist will model and train Extended School Year (ESY) teachers and paraprofessionals in safe handling and physical transfers of students with disabilities.  Exercises and Range of Motion activities may be included in the training.   The hours vary and are flexible with 10-20 hours this summer to train staff and monitor their safe application of these skills.
