Pioneer Ridge Middle School is a 6-8 learning environment with about 700 learners.  We have a growing population of diverse learners which we support through exceptional, personalized learning.  We believe in providing a safe, welcoming environment for all learners to acquire the tools and skills necessary to confidently engage in a global community.  We are passionate and committed to closing the achievement gap and raising the bar for all students.
Preferred Candidates will have prior successful experience working with students in a diverse, multicultural education setting and/or experience working towards equity in education.

Position Dates: ASAP – June 6, 2019 (Opportunity to extend past this schol year)
Days/Hours:  Student contact days; 8:00am – 4:00pm

Banded/Graded:  B-2-1
Salary:  Tier 5 – $19.59/hour
Responsible To:  Building Principal
Position Purpose:  To supervise students in the middle school, monitor halls, support student safety and security; build student relationships to support learning; assist teachers and students with instruction and learning.

Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:  Experience working with youth preferred; Minimally HS Diploma some post secondary preferred.  See website.

Benefits of Employment as of July 1, 2018:  Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Student Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112.  This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
