POSITION: Full-time School Psychologist split between Jordan Elementary and Jordan Middle School.

SUMMARY: Conduct educational evaluations for students receiving special education services.  Consult with educational staff regarding behavior management and social skills and participate in team meetings as appropriate.

SALARY: Per Teacher Contract

REPORTS TO: Special Services Director and Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Minnesota Teaching License in School Psychology
  • Previous experience preferred

Learning Support Teacher

Mounds Park Academy seeks a part-time Lower School Learning Support Teacher for the 2018–2019 school year.  The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide direct academic support to students with unique learning needs and collaborate with teachers to provide these services.

 

It is expected that a successful candidate would:

 

Develop individualized lessons and provide direct instruction to students in math utilizing Singapore Math strategies
Develop individualized lessons and provide direct instruction for students experiencing reading and writing difficulties
Collaborate with classroom teachers on instructional strategies
Utilize appropriate teaching strategies to support exceptional learners
Attend and contribute to student support meetings as needed
Assist classroom teachers in administration and scoring of reading assessments
Other duties as assigned

Teacher, Special Education

POSITION: Full-time Special Education Teacher for Jordan Middle School.

SUMMARY: Case manager of students with Specific Learning Disabilities and Other Health Disabilities. Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of the students. Strong Background in IEP writing, due process procedures, and writing evaluation reports.
