Required Qualifications:
1. Minnesota K-12 American Sign Language Teaching License
2. Excellent collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and building personnel
3. Abililty to establish and maintain high academic standards and positive working relationships with students
4. Fluent in American Sign Language
5. Familiar with deaf culture

Desired Qualifications:
1.  Knowledge of campus student data management system, email and necessary classroom technology
2.  Experience with high school aged students

Position:   Choir Teacher (Choral Music Director) (1.0)

Required Qualifications:
1)       Must possess an appropriate MN Teaching license
2)       Ability to establish and maintain high academic standards and positive working relationship with students
3)       Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with administration and colleagues
4)       Effective communication skills
5)       Demonstrated ability in classroom management
6)       Knowledge and understanding of instructional theory and practice

North High Choral Director:

– Direct and lead high school choirs: Varsity Choir, Concert Choir, Concert Chorale, and Northern Lights Show Choir
– Teach Guitar, Drumming, and Music Theory courses as needed
– Coordinate and lead developmental lessons/ensembles

Desired Qualifications:
1)     Experience teaching high school students
2)     Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
