Moose Lake Community School is seeking an innovative and student-centered High School Principal to lead our 7-12 learning community. The ideal candidate will be an instructional leader who fosters academic excellence, cultivates a positive and inclusive school culture, and collaborates with students, staff, and families to ensure student success. The Principal will be responsible for managing daily school operations, overseeing curriculum and instruction, supporting teacher development, and maintaining a safe and effective learning environment.
Reports To: Superintendent
Compensation: $95,000 or more, based on experience, plus benefits

Administrative Licensure Requirement
Candidates must currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Minnesota K-12 Principal License as a condition of employment.
Eligibility Considerations
Candidates may not be eligible for licensure in Minnesota if they:
- Lack the necessary educational qualifications, such as a master’s degree or higher in educational administration, leadership, or a related field.
- Have not completed a state-approved administrative licensure program or its equivalent.
- Do not meet Minnesota’s required years of teaching or educational leadership experience.
- Have unresolved licensure issues in other states, including disciplinary actions or revocations.
- Are unable to pass required background checks or provide the necessary documentation for licensure application.
- Do not meet the reciprocity requirements if they are licensed in another state.
