Barnum Public Schools ISD 91 is looking for a long-term substitute teacher beginning approximately January 28, 2019, through the end of the school year for a 4th grade classroom for a teacher out on leave. Position is open until filled.
This is an 8-week substitute position in a 1st grade classroom at Barnum Elementary School for a teacher out on maternity leave, beginning approximately April 7, 2019, through the end of the school year.
Position: 1.0 FTE Industrial Technology Teacher
Location: Eveleth-Gilbert Junior/Senior High, Gilbert, MN
Date Available: 2019-2020 School Year; Open Until Filled
License in Industrial Technology or Agriculture required. Career and Technical Education certificate preferred.

General Definition of Work:
Performs difficult and intermediate skilled administrative support work providing high level, confidential and administrative support for the Superintendent, members of the School Board, including, but not limited to assisting in the development and assembly of meetings and agendas, attendance at all Board meetings, preparing and publishing minutes and resolutions, screening callers and greeting visitors, managing calendars, providing assistance in resolving and addressing routine issues and problems not requiring the Superintendent, providing coordination and scheduling of workshops, meetings and special events, making travel arrangements and maintaining and organizing confidential records, reports and files, and related work as apparent or assigned. Individual must be a positive representative for district. Performs administrative support work organizing the activities office, preparing and maintaining fiscal, eligibility and other activity related records, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Superintendent and Business Manager. The final evaluation is the responsibility of the Superintendent.
