TRANSPORTATION SPECIAL EDUCATION AND ROUTING MANAGER

The employee in this position is responsible for coordinating special needs and modified bussing through a computer routing program. Executive Director, Pine to Prairie Cooperative Center, presently located in Red Lake Falls, MN

The Director will oversee 100 CTE programs in 29 school districts in NW MN to insure that all CTE programs have licensed instructors and the CTE programs are approved. The director will work with teachers, counselors, principals and superintendents in the local schools to monitor and improve CTE programs and career and college counseling. The director will also oversee the Carl Perkins grant and work with Northland Community and Tech College to assure the Pine to Prairie consortium receives the grant and completes all Perkins activities. The director will work with legislators on legislation that further promotes CTE programs in NW Minnesota and seeks grants and outside sources of funding that strengthen CTE programs in NW Minnesota. The director will serve as an advisor to the Northwest Online College in the High School program and coordinate the OCHS program for the 29 Pine to Prairie high schools. 200 day Contract
