Position Requirements:
The Senior High School Principal must demonstrate accomplished leadership skills, excellent organizational skills, highly developed communications skills, and in-depth knowledge of instruction and educational issues. Demonstrated participation in equity leadership professional development and/or experience in equity programming. Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness. Comprehensive knowledge of the policies, practices, methods and techniques used in the administration and supervision of a school; thorough knowledge of prescribed school board policies and procedures; thorough skill in oral and written communication; thorough skill in the use of personal computers and related software packages, hardware and peripheral equipment; thorough skills in outstanding leadership and personal characteristics; ability to motivate others to reach their fullest potential; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, the School Board, parents, elected officials, students, staff, superintendent and the general public. Secondary or K-12 Principal Licensure is required. Minimum of four years of successful secondary administrative experience is preferred.

Position Summary:
By serving as a collaborative member of our 4th Grade team, ideal candidate will ensure every student will learn at high levels through high quality, student-centered instruction.
Qualifications:
Valid MN Elementary Teaching license. Demonstrated use of 21st Century strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. Candidate will have a solid background in equity, believing and ensuring all students learn at high levels. Experience in balanced literacy, co-teaching, and utilizing an integrated approach to instruction across all content areas and a background in STEAM and Everyday Math beneficial. Consistent and reliable attendance is required. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Somali desired.

Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree.
Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree, complete all required testing, and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2019, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply. Community Health Worker

Summary of Duties: Under indirect supervision, works closely with medical providers, primary care teams, and social services agencies to provide short term care coordination and connection to resources and support to program clients to improve their health and general well-being through education and provision of coordination of care and services. Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Knowledge of community agencies and resources.

Reading Teacher (full-time, 1.00 FTEs)
Early Learning
A position is available for a full-time (1.00 FTEs) Reading Teacher with the Early Learning department for the 2019-20 school year. MN licensure in PreK-3 or Reading licensure required.
Summary of Duties: The certified teacher implements a series of decisions based on the numerous principles of learning which when practiced should increase the probability that learning will take place. The reading teacher will coach early learning teachers on literacy development and reading strategies to build the capacity of staff on reading instruction. This would be inclusive of working with the district’s parent educators on literacy development. The teacher may or may not develop and supervise extra-curricular or co-curricular activities.
