A full-time (1.000 FTEs) position is available for a Special Education Teacher, Secondary Resource at Prairie Winds Middle School beginning January 21, 2019 for the 2018-19 school year.  Requirements: MN licensure in Special Education required.

This position serves as a collaborative member of our 5th Grade team, working in co-teaching and small group settings.  Candidate will perform difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching and direct instructional services or specific learning programs within District curriculum guidelines, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned.  Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Building Principal.  Continuous oversight is exercised over paraprofessionals.
