Job Summary:  

The certified teacher develops lesson plans, conducts classroom instruction, evaluates and assesses both instructional material and student performance.  The teacher interprets student progress and communicated regularly with parents about student strengths, weaknesses and/or programs. The teacher is a member of an interdisciplinary team and works collaboratively with colleagues to make decisions about team programming and supporting students through intervention and enrichment.

New Teacher orientation begins August 20, 2018

Mankato Area Public Schools has a position available for a Behavior Analyst/Specialist beginning September 4, 2018.    This is a full-time, 8 hours per day/5 days per week, 9-month non-affiliated position.

Summary of Duties:  The Behavior Specialist will provide behavior consultation and support for students serviced in our Futures Setting IV Program. The Behavior Specialist will work closely with the teachers in creating programming, behavior intervention plans and providing day to day student support either individually or in group settings.

Job Requirements:Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or an educationally licensed Social Worker, School Psychologist or Special Education Teacher who has experience working with a team designing and implementing behavior plans. Previous experience in a school setting preferred.

Other Information:  Non-affiliated, Category III benefits
