South Central
EBD or ABS – Level 3 Program
Provides instruction and behavioral interventions for students placed in the St. James Level 3 Program.
Participates as a team member in the planning and implementation of academic/treatment programs (when applicable) for individual students and their families. This includes consultation with school personnel, parents, and appropriate agencies regarding possible intervention strategies for students. Serves as IEP manager for students assigned to the Level 3 Program. This includes completion of all necessary due process forms and adherence to due process timelines and other requirements. Provides academic instruction, social skills training, assessment, and behavioral intervention consistent with each student’s IEP and due process procedures. Participates as part of the team in determining appropriateness of placement of pupils within the level 3 program.

School Social Worker
Provide counseling and related services to parents and their children whose behavior, attitudes and circumstances suggest a need for specialized individual attention. Consult with school staff and act as a liaison and referral source to community agencies.
Middle School Science Teacher
Maple River Schools is seeking a full-time Science Teacher for the 2018-19 school year. Current Secondary license required. Maple River Schools will review all qualified licensed candidates.
Extra-curricular – Several advisor and/or coaching positions will be available during the school year.

2018-19 Graduate Teaching Fellowships
Minnesota State University, Mankato
Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree in Social Studies.
Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree, complete all required testing, and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2018, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply. Application deadline: April 12, 2018, or until filled.
