K-12 Talent Development Reading Coach Mankato Area Public Schools has a position available for a full-time K-12 Talent Development Reading Coach beginning with the 2017-18 school year. Summary of Duties: To provide coaching support and instructional training for K-12 cluster and enriched teachers that will enable each identified student to master the skills appropriate to age, grade level, and individual capacity. Qualifications:*Valid MN teaching license. *Minimum 5 years teaching experience and tenured in a District. *Strong written and verbal communication skills. *Commitment to personal professional development. *Demonstrated leadership. *Understanding of current research and practice related to teaching, learning, and leadership. *Proven experience in motivating colleagues to maximize their potential, and excellent facilitator. *Understanding of technology and its application in education.
