Leveraging the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), the incumbent collaborates with educators to ensure that all students have equitable access to high-quality education.

Duties: Under the direction of the Director of Special Services and Building Principal, the Licensed School Social Worker provides direct and indirect social work services to students experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavioral difficulties that interfere with their performance in school and facilitates communication among school, home and community providers. The school social worker participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and identify the needs of students.
