Student Support Services Supervisor

 

Mankato Area Public Schools has a position available for a Student Support Services Supervisor beginning July 1,2024.  This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Summary of Duties:
The Supervisor will assist the Student Support Services Department in a variety of tasks that support the daily functioning of the department such as, but not limited to, ESY, PLCs, due process, assessments, curriculum, serving as district representative at IEP meetings and mentoring/coaching.

Qualifications Required:
Director of Special Education License or currently and/or willing to enter in a program working towards licensure.

Other Information:
This is a Non-affiliated position with Category III benefits.

Salary:
$94,400 – 96,800

Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial (LCWM) Public Schools is seeking a Superintendent as of July 1,
2024. Candidates must possess licensure as a Superintendent in the State of Minnesota or demonstrate
their ability to secure licensure by July 1, 2024. Previous experience as a superintendent is preferred but
not required.

The LCWM School’s Office is located in Lake Crystal, Minnesota approximately 15 miles west of
Mankato and near Minnesota State Highway 60. The Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial School District
serves the communities of Lake Crystal, Butternut, Vernon Center, Rapidan, Judson and Garden City. It
serves approximately 950 students in Pre K-12th grade programs.

Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Program Supervisor

A full-time position as the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Program Supervisor is available beginning July 1, 2024, for the 2024-25  school year.

Summary of Duties:
The ECSE Program Supervisor works within the team of early learning leadership to develop, implement, staff and supervise ECSE programs for children ages birth-five.  This is a full-time, 12-month position, which includes the management of curriculum and assessment, as well as frameworks used for instruction such as Pyramid Model and Family Guided Routines Based Intervention.  This position will utilize individual and district data to assist in making student decisions and program recommendations.

Qualifications: 

Minimum:

Minnesota Teaching License in Early Childhood Special Education
Three years of teaching experience in Early Childhood Special Education

Preferred:

Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education or closely related field
Early Childhood Special Education Experience Birth Through Pre-K
School related leadership or supervisory experience

Under the supervision of the Director of Special Education, the Assistant Director / Principal for Intermediate School District 917’s Federal Setting IV Special Education programs and directs the implementation of special education programming, including curriculum, district policies, and continuously overseeing staff and students. The Assistant Director / Principal plays a vital role in providing leadership to create and sustain a consistent, safe environment conducive to education at the assigned program as well as on a district-wide level. In this role, one helps lead, model, and encourage respect, communication, and competency. This role is performed following District policy and State/Federal Laws.
