MN New Country School (MNCS) (Kindergarten-12th Grade Public Charter School) – Henderson, MN is located in Sibley County and currently enrolls approximately 220 students. The Special Education teacher needed for this position will be licensed in a at least two areas (EDB and LD) or as an Academic Behavior Strategist and will provide specialized instruction for students with mild to moderate disabilities (LD, OHD, ASD, or EBD).
Between the two positions, candidates with a specialty in reading instruction and positive behavior management are encouraged to apply.

Interim- Elementary Principal
The Le Sueur-Henderson School District is committed to a unified focus on learning that inspires individual student achievement and is seeking a highly motivated leader to serve as an administrator of Elementary Schools. Essential job functions include:
- Supervise all professional, paraprofessional, administrative and non-professional personnel assigned to the school or possibly other areas in the district.
- Recruit, hire, train and evaluate teachers and professional staff.
- Administer collective bargaining contracts of teachers, custodians, secretaries, and paraprofessionals at the site level.
- Implement and observe School Board policies.
- Establish and maintain high standards for student achievement.
- Establish and maintain high standards of student conduct and enforce discipline as necessary, according to due process.
English Language Learner 4th & 5th Grade Teacher Long Term Substitute
Position Summary:
Provide high quality instruction to identified students and serve as a collaborative member of our English Language Learner (EL) Team. Position follows a co-teaching model, with EL Teacher collaborating with general education classroom teacher, working in collaboration to meet students’ needs in the area of literacy, math, and social-emotional learning.
Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Teaching License. Valid ELL/EL/ESL Minnesota Teaching License. Consistent and reliable attendance.
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in Education, certificate and/or experience in the area of reading intervention education preferred, or related field and moderate experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Valid Minnesota Teaching License. Valid ELL/EL/ESL Minnesota Teaching License. Ideal candidate will have a strong equity background, believing and ensuring all kids learn at high levels. A strong demonstrated use of 21st Century learning strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. A strong background in literacy and language is preferred with in depth understanding and application of language acquisition and WIDA Standards.
Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Somali desired.
5th Grade Teacher
Position Summary:
To serve as a collaborative team member on a 5th grade team. Educator will ensure high levels of learning for every learner, every day.
