Position Summary:
Provide classroom instruction to students in 6th grade with an emphasis in Language Arts and Math.
Requirements:
Valid MN Elementary Teaching license. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Somali desired. Demonstrated use of 21st Century strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. Balanced Literacy preferred. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.
2 Full Time permanent positions and 1 Full Time (full year) temporary available.
Position Summary:
The speech language pathologist performs professional work assessing and delivering instructional and clinical services to individual and small groups of students with speech and language impairments, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in speech language pathology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Minnesota licensure in speech language pathology; Certificate of Clinical Competency preferred.
Position Summary:
Provide high quality instruction focusing on literacy skills and math computation/comprehension to K-5 elementary students. The number of positions and placements will be based upon student enrollment. Successful candidates are required to attend an informational meeting and need to commit to four weeks of instruction. The only absences that will be approved during this time are for illness or emergencies. Multiple positions available.

Assist the teacher with performing duties necessary to meet the educational needs of an individual or group of students. The Educational Assistant’s primary focus is on directly serving students or in preparation for meeting the student’s needs. The number of positions and placements will be based upon student enrollment. Successful candidates are required to attend an information meeting AND need to commit to all 4 weeks. Terms of Employment: To be established by Personnel Team and Board of Directors annually.
Evaluation: Performance in this position will be evaluated annually by the special education team and reviewed by personnel team in accordance with board policy.
Compensation: Reviewed and established annually by the Personnel Team and Board of Directors
Job Summary:
The Special Education Paraprofessional supports the district instructional program for students and each student’s educational goals as established in the Special Education Individual Education Plan.

Furthermore, the Teacher coordinates and schedules classroom or individual instruction catered to meet the specific goals for the child in a safe and caring environment.
.5 OMS (Media/Photography) – Areas of study will include news and feature story formats; design principles; printing industry; photography principles; journalism ethics; and sales. Writing in journalistic style and instruction in photography and editing and pre-press skills will precede the actual production of the yearbook.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and current state teaching certificate in English/Language Arts. Three (3) years of classroom teaching experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that would allow the candidate to satisfactorily perform the duties of this position, may be considered.
