This anticipated position offers a unique opportunity to lead the Elementary Schools. Other supervisory/administrative responsibilities may be assigned.
Essential job functions include:
- Supervise all professional, paraprofessional, administrative and non-professional personnel assigned to the school or possibly other areas in the district.
- Recruit, hire, train and evaluate teachers and professional staff.
- Administer collective bargaining contracts of teachers, custodians, secretaries, and paraprofessionals at the site level.
- Implement and observe School Board policies.
- Establish and maintain high standards for student achievement.
- Establish and maintain high standards of student conduct and enforce discipline as necessary, according to due process.
