Principal of ALC Programs
Description:
The Principal of ALC Programs is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Owatonna ALC, including regular day program, independent study, night program, summer credit recovery and targeted services; develops and implements student discipline policies and procedures; schedules; reviews credits for graduation; supervises and evaluates ALC staff.
Position Requirements:
Degree in educational administration, educational leadership or closely related field; a valid Minnesota K-12 administrative license required . Five+ years of successful teaching experience. Three+ years experience working with at-risk disadvantaged youth. Ability to communicate to a culturally diverse cross section of individuals and organizations.
Middle School English/Language Arts Teacher (2020-2021 School Year)
Position Summary:
This position will be part of the traditional Language Arts program and could include Language Arts classes in grades 6-8. Primary responsibilities will likely be 6th and 7th grade Language Arts; however, the final schedule is still being developed. Strong background in reading strategies desired.
Qualifications:
Valid MN 5-12 English/Language Arts/Communication Arts teaching license required or Middle School License with Language Arts emphasis.

Executive Director of Cannon Valley Special Education Cooperative
Position Summary:
This position serves as the Executive Director of the Cooperative for member school districts and is the Chief Administrator of the Cooperative. This position provides leadership and advocacy to ensure that all learners are provided a free appropriate public education within the least restrictive environment consistent with state and federal regulations. This position manages and supervises Cooperative special education leadership, coordinators, teachers, educational support personnel, and paraprofessionals.

Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree in Mathematics.
Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree, complete all required testing, and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2020, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply.
