·         Capacity building for communicators districtwide

·         Budget development and management

The Albert Lea Area School District’s main office is located in Albert Lea, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 3,602 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

Coordinator of Special Services – Early Childhood Special Education

  • The Coordinator of Special Services—Early Childhood Special Education is responsible for overseeing and assuring the due process procedures of the District are being adhered to by Early Childhood staff.  Duties include serving as a resource regarding program requirements and questions; initial evaluations of all early childhood-referred students as appropriate, supervising ECSE special services paraprofessionals;  ECSE special services  staff development training; curriculum leadership; MARSS reporting; and collaborate with Early Childhood Coordinator.

  • Must hold a valid Minnesota Director of Special Education administrative license
