Job Description: A part-time Early Childhood teacher position for Falcon’s Nest Preschool at Faribault Education Center.  Qualified candidates will offer a developmentally appropriate learning environment, with the focus on cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy, and physical/motor development of students.  This teacher will also work with a classroom paraprofessional to create a warm welcoming environment for parents and children. The position is 2 days a week from 12:40 PM – 3:20 PM. This position commences with the 2021-2022 school year on September 13, 2021.  Falcon’s Nest Preschool is a part of the Minnesota Centers of Excellence Pyramid Model Innovation Grant.  Applicants with knowledge and experience in a multi-tiered system of support for young learners are preferred.

Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities. The school district currently serves approximately 3,700 students in Faribault and our surrounding areas within our community of 23,000 citizens within the city limits. District sites include our early childhood center, three elementary schools K-5, one middle school 6-8, one high school 9-12, one area learning center 9-12 and one education center for adult education.
