Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Hiawatha Valley Education District (HVED) provides special education services to 13 School Districts and 2 Charter Schools within five counties of southeast Minnesota: Fillmore, Houston, Olmsted, Wabasha, and Winona. HVED also has two (2) Setting IV Behavior Programs, Students Achieving Integrated Services (SAIL), that provide programming for students in grades K-12 with challenging behaviors currently receiving special education services. Job Description: A Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Orchestra teacher at Faribault Middle School teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Responsibilities include middle school orchestra and lessons. The qualified candidate should have experience starting beginning orchestra students, demonstrated success working with elementary and middle school aged students, proficiency on string instruments, maintains instrument inventory, and communicates well with students, parents, teachers, and administration. This position commences with the 2020-2021 school year on August 24, 2020.
