School Van Route Driver

Lewiston-Altura Public Schools is accepting applications for a school van route driver. The position available will cover morning, mid-day, and afternoon routes, based on student needs. Applicants must have valid driver’s license, pass a criminal background check, and pass a check of their driving record. Driver is also subject to random drug & alcohol testing and annual driving record checks (in accordance with Minnesota State Laws). Four (4) Academic Specialists

Summary of Job Duties:  The Academic Specialist will work with students in academics at Faribault High School.  The primary purpose of the Academic Specialist is to improve the academic achievement of all students through interventions.  Classes will be spent in the study hall and media center classrooms working with students and teachers.

Essential Functions:Serve as a member of the High School Staff
Re-teach academic content in the areas of English, Science, Math and Social Studies in small groups
Work with students during school.
Collaborate with Teachers
Monitor and communicate student progress with students, families, administrators, and staff
Monitor and communicate weekly assignments, activities and assessments with teachers and families.
Monitor student attendance and communicate with parents as necessary
Stay current with best practices research and strategies
Other duties as assigned

Temporary Elementary Classroom Teacher – Second Grade

Essential Functions: A temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Second Grade Teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School. Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our elementary school, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience.  This position commences with the 2020-2021 school year on August 31, 2020.
