Description:
Hiawatha Valley Education District is seeking on-call Substitute Teachers and Paraprofessionals for Students Acheiving Integrated Learning (SAIL) Setting IV Behavior Program located in Kellogg, MN.
Teacher Job Summary:
Ability to adapt instruction to the varying educational and behavioral demands and needs of the students
Ability to work with a team of professionals to meet the needs of students
Ability to collaborate with and provide direction to paraprofessionals
Teacher Qualifications: Minnesota Teaching Licensed issued by Minnesota Department of Education
Experience working with students/children preferred
Paraprofessional Job Summary:Assisting teachers in their teaching duties and other general responsibilities
Adapts classroom activities, assignments and/or materials under the direction of the supervising teacher
Monitors special education students for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment
Paraprofessional Qualifications:
Must meet highly qualified criteria: Associates Degree or higher degree, or meets Minnesota Certified ParaPro Assessment
Experience working with students/children preferred
Working Conditions:
Office, lifting, sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, keyboarding, etc.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
