1.0 FTE Long-term Substitute Early Childhood Teacher – Roosevelt Elementary
Job Description: A 1.0 FTE Long-term Substitute Early Childhood teacher position for Falcon’s Nest Preschool, a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten site at Roosevelt Elementary School. Qualified candidates will offer a developmentally appropriate learning environment, with the focus on cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy, and physical/motor development of students. This teacher will also work with a classroom paraprofessional to create a warm welcoming environment for parents and children. The position is 5 days a week from 7:30AM-3:30PM. This position commences on March 16 – June 5, 2020. Falcon’s Nest Preschool is a part of the Minnesota Centers of Excellence Pyramid Model Innovation Grant. Applicants with knowledge and experience in a multi-tiered system of support for young learners are preferred.

Business Manager
The Business Manager is responsible for the fiscal management of the school district, operations of the business office and for providing the Superintendent and Board of Education with timely financial information.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
·Process semi-monthly payrolls including all benefit reporting/payments
·Manage finance of school district including paying of bills, development/implementation of budget, forecasting of expense/revenue, investment management, etc.
·Prepare for annual audit and work with auditors in completion of report
·Responsible for the creation and monitoring of all required business procedures throughout the school, including those related to purchasing, handling of cash and collection, etc.
·Ensure all state/federal required reporting is completed accurately and on a timely basis
·Assist with negotiations and prepare financial information for negotiations of contracts
·Attendance at School Board meetings
·Knowledge of employee benefit plans and administration
·Maintains fixed assets inventory
Qualifications (preferred)
·Experience in Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration, and/or School Finance experience preferred
·Strong analytical skills necessary to make sound decisions and recommendations
·Effective written and verbal communication skills
·Effective time management, leadership, and organizational skills
