Early Learning Coordinator
Faribault Public Schools is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time Early Childhood Coordinator at McKinley Early Childhood Center. The successful candidate for this position will perform difficult professional work overseeing the staff and operations of early childhood, family education and early childhood special education programs. This position is for 230 days per year and commences immediately upon hire.
Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities. The school district currently serves approximately 3,700 students in Faribault and our surrounding areas within our community of 23,000 citizens within the city limits. District sites include one early childhood center, three elementary schools K-5, one middle school 6-8, one high school 9-12, one area learning center 9-12 and one education center for adult education.

Essential Functions: Implements and administers board policies and local, state or federal laws to provide programming that meets the needs for early childhood, special education, and family education funding.
Provides leadership, direction, supervision, mentoring and development opportunities to staff; recruits, interviews and makes recommendations on personnel actions.
Develops and monitors budget and programming that can be efficiently offered within the budget; seeks additional funds through grants and collaborations, generates and monitors program revenues and fees.
Plans and implements new program initiatives through needs assessments, research and collaboration with others to meet the needs of the community; formulates annual goals and objectives for new and existing programs and services.
Serves as a liaison for resources within the Faribault consortium.
Works as a liaison and advocate for programming by giving presentations and working in collaboration with other similar agencies; represents the department at conferences and other meetings.
Establishes and keeps various statistical data regarding the program and participants.
Oversees and ensures accurate procedures are followed for assessments and screenings.
Creates and maintains various promotional materials for distribution and marketing of the program into community.
Coordinates the early intervention services for children Birth-5, the integrated preschool and community placements.
Functions as the District Representative at Due Process Meetings, as well as state level meetings and conferences.
Mental Health Practitioner

The Goodhue School District main office is located in Goodhue, Minnesota. The district has an enrollment of 680 students in grades K-12.
The Goodhue School is a small school with big ambitions. It is home to an elementary and secondary school located in the same building. Dean of Students
Hiawatha Valley Education District is seeking a talented, driven Dean of Students to help build a new HVED program. This program created to collaborate with Minnesota State College Southeast to provide an opportunity for secondary students to take college courses at Minnesota State College Southeast while achieving their high school diploma. This program and ALC classroom will be within Minnesota State College Southeast, located in Winona, MN. The Dean of Students is responsible for attendance, credits, discipline, safety, and related pupil personnel services. The Dean of Students will also collaborate with HVED’s current ALC program, River Valley Academy, HVED Administration, and Minnesota State College Southeast. As this is a new program, this position may fulfill a dual role as Dean of Students and ALC Teacher while the program gets started and becomes successful.
