Middle/High School Paraprofessional

MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL POSITION AVAILABLE

Caledonia Area Middle/High School has an opening for full-time special education paraprofessional for the 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for patient individuals who enjoy working with children and who work well with others.  Applicants need to meet the highly qualified requirement of having an associate’s degree, 60 college credits or passing the ParaPro or Paraeducator exam upon hire.  The district will provide training for those taking the exam.  The hiring range is $16.08 – $19.92 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience. Benefits include life insurance, LTD, health insurance, 403(B), and paid time off. On-site daycare is available at a discounted rate, provided there are openings. ES Health office Aide

This position performs human support work providing care for students, administering medications, provide assessments, screenings, planning, intervention, evaluation, management and/or referrals concerning the health and medical care needs of students for the purpose of minimizing absences due to illness, maximizing educational opportunities, and creating a healthy school climate.

High School Substitute Custodian

This position works under the direct supervision of the Principal, Director of Facilities, and Business Manager, performs general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds; maintains equipment in functional condition; and provides cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors, and others as necessary.

High School Personal Care Assistant

The Personal Care Assistant is assigned specifically to a student or group of students who regularly need one on one assistance to maintain appropriate and equitable participation in the school setting. Work is performed under the close supervision of the school principal, teacher/case manager, and nurse.

Chatfield Public Schools has an opening for an Elementary School Paraprofessional for the 2024-2025 school year. This position works under the direct supervision of a certified staff member assisting students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives.  The focus of this position will be in the area of Special Ed. program.  Other duties could include lunch and recess supervision, crossing guard, and other duties to support student learning.
