Temporary Food Service Assistant

Primary function will be balanced between meal preparation, setup, service, and cleanup during meal periods for students and staff at Lincoln Elementary School in accordance with USDA Child Nutrition Program guidelines.  Work cooperatively with other school staff in the preparation of foods used in district-wide menus and special function activities.  Participate in Nutrition Services professional development activities as scheduled. This position has the potential to turn into a permanent Cook/Cashier role.

 

Other Skills and Abilities:
Basic math skills including computer applications experience.

Schedule:
Position is temporary through the end of the 2017-2018 school year / 5 days per week / 5.25 hours per day / 8:15 AM – 1:30 PM

1.0 FTE EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

Performs professional work providing a broad range of co-teaching services within our ELL classes Language department, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience. This position begins immediately after hire.

Owatonna Fishing Team

Owatonna Community Education is seeking a Head Coach, Volunteer Assistant Coaches, Volunteer Boat Captains and general volunteers to assist with the development of a Fishing Team for grades 7-12.

* Head Coach is responsible for primary skill development, safety and communication of the Fishing Team ($1,400 Stipend).
* Volunteer Assistant Coaches will be assigned tasks by the head coach involving developing recreational and competitive fishing skills.
* Volunteer Boat Captains take student anglers to compete in approved tournaments.
* General Volunteers will be needed for assorted assignments at the direction of the Head Coach or Owatonna Community Education.

 

Special Education Paraprofessional

Position Summary:
The Special Education Paraprofessional assists the classroom teacher with performing duties necessary to meet the educational, personal, physical, and behavior needs of an individual or group of special education students.  The Special Education Paraprofessional’s primary focus in on directly serving students or in preparation for meeting the student’s needs.

Other Skills and Abilities:
Provide a variety of suggestions for working with students in the special education setting.  Maintain flexibility in day to day dealing with staff and students.  Maintain the confidentiality of all information regarding students.  Perform duties within a tight daily schedule and with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.  Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Schedule:
5 days per week / 6.5 hours per day / 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Temporary position through the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year.

 

 

Special Education Specific Learning Disability (SLD) Teacher
