Assessment & Technology Specialist

Essential Functions: The Assessment and Technology Specialist serves as a key part of all schools providing support in the areas of data, assessments and integrating technology into all aspects of the curriculum, as well as supporting all staff in the day-to-day operations of the assessments necessary by working collaboratively with teachers, digital coaches and administrative staff for planning, co-teaching and modeling strategies to effectively meet the needs of the schools. This position reports directly to the Director of Teacher and Learning. Position will assist with the following duties: *Analyze and report results of assessments to stakeholder groups; interpret results of test scores; maintain calendar of assessment activities; organize the receipt, distribution, collections, and mailing of testing materials; provide training for testing administration as needed; generate graphic visualization of data in efforts to assist school leadership in making meaningful and actionable decisions. *Assist with program and instruction evaluation based on formative assessment analysis; collaborate with staff on instructional needs during PLC’s and other staff meetings, conduct training for teachers related to testing requirements. *Collaborate with teachers, digital coaches and administrative staff for planning, co-teaching and modeling strategies to effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning. *Analyze data to assess how the instructional technology program meets the needs of the school community. *Research, develop and coordinate a digital citizenship curriculum through-out all grade levels. *Facilitates a student technology team at the secondary level. *Coordinates and provides training for assessment administration. *Collects, analyzes and distributes results of assessments. *Assists the director with curriculum committees and staff development. *Act as a resource to district assessment efforts; test monitor training, proctor tests and make-up tests, inventory and secure accommodated assessment materials, set-up and troubleshoot testing areas.

Mentor Program Site Advisor – High School, Middle School; one at each site.

Essential Functions: The Mentor Program Site Advisor is a responsible individual who will run, coordinate and organize all building mentor program activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the Elementary Curriculum Coordinator, aiming at flawless execution of the #656 Mentor Program. This individual will assist with the following responsibilities: * Meet bi-weekly with Curriculum Coordinator to plan meetings, communicate and collaborate timeframes, schedule and documentation. * Facilitate monthly mentee and mentor meetings, resources, paperwork and information. * Work in collaboration with mentees and mentors to identify and define programming. * Make certain that the needs of mentor program participants are met as outlined in the program. * Monitor and track program’s progress and handle any issues that arise on site. * Act as the point of contact and communicate adequately to all Mentor Program participants. * Use program management tools to issue and collect all appropriate paperwork, monitor hours, participation in program and responsibilities as outlined in the contract. * Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation, plans and reports. * Report to administration as needed.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Facilty Director

Caledonia Area Public School District No. 299 is seeking applicants for the position of a full-time, year-round Facility Director. Job Summary – Plan, organize and direct the operations of the buildings, grounds, and transportation department. Supervision and work direction of building maintenance personnel to ensure the efficient and safe operation of cleaning and maintenance of all buildings and grounds. Implement and monitor the district’s health and safety plan. Develop, recommend and monitor departmental budget, and organize and implement all maintenance programs. Direct the hiring and orientation of new staff and provide on-the-job training for all staff. Coordinate and conduct services for district employees regarding health and safety issues. Perform and/or delegate maintenance and repairs on plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems. Coordinate all major repairs and upgrades with district administration and outside contractors. Work with district administration to direct and oversee the district’s safety programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements of OSHA and other local, state, and federal safety mandates. Work Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of a 2-year associate’s degree in facility management, HVAC, contract or construction management, or related area or a combination of training and experience to equal 5 years in facility maintenance, repair and grounds. Knowledge of the operation of building systems, security systems, HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical work. Fundamentals, concepts, and processes of planning and contracting out major renovations and new constructions projects. Experience in PC operation relating to building automation systems and preventive maintenance programs.
