School Based Mental Health Therapist – Alexander Learning Center
Fernbrook Family Center’s School-based CTSS program is located at the Alexander Learning Academy to provide mental health services within the school setting. These services are provided within a federal Level 4 setting determined by student’s Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). School-based CTSS programs serve students whose mental health concerns present a barrier to special education services. Fernbrook’s role is to help maintain and regulate student behaviors. Staff will provide individual therapy and skills and group skills focusing on mental health and mood regulation strategies. Staff follow the school’s schedule and will work collaboratively and effectively with school personnel. Fernbrook is seeking to add a Full-time School Based Mental Health Therapist to work in the Alexander Learning Academy school in Faribault, MN. This position will provide children’s therapeutic services and supports utilizing varying therapeutic and rehabilitative levels of intervention. The services are time-limited interventions that are delivered using various treatment modalities and combinations of services designed to reach treatment outcomes identified in the individual treatment plan. We are looking for someone with strong leadership, organizational and time management skills. Someone who can work collaboratively as a team within both the school and Fernbrook setting, as well as enjoys and can manage a variety of responsibilities and duties. We would prefer someone who has experience writing Diagnostic Assessments and Treatment Plan Writing. Responsibilities: -Conduct diagnostic assessments -Create and guide treatment plan -Collaborate with school systems, care givers, outside agencies, and school staff. -Create effective working relationships with colleagues and community partners. -Work in collaboration with culturally diverse populations (students and their families). -Maintain progress towards licensure and follow requirements of supervision as applicable.

Early Childhood Teacher – McKinley Center
An Early Childhood teacher position is open at McKinley Early Childhood Center for the remainder of the 2017 school year. Qualified candidates will offer a developmentally appropriate learning environment, with the focus on cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy, and physical/motor development of students. This teacher will also work with a classroom paraprofessional to create a warm welcoming environment for parents and children. The position is 4 days a week, 3.5 hours per day & commences immediately upon hire.
