School Readiness Supervisor

This position is responsible for supervising the School Readiness Program to ensure quality services and supports for the children and families in the program. Job Summary: Supervision and Coordination: Design School Readiness Program with ECFS Manager to meet the needs of the community. Ensure program quality and compliance with state and local School Readiness Program requirements Establish and supervise SR recruitment, intake and placement procedures Work with ECFS clerical staff to determine eligibility, award scholarships, and complete evaluations Prepare yearly staffing assignments for School Readiness teachers and assistants with ECFS manager Supervise and support coaching opportunities for School Readiness teachers Supervise and provide parent and family engagement activities within the program Supervise and perform home visits to provide resources and gather necessary information Supervise SR Community and Parent Liaison Monitor classroom environments for safety and appropriate materials and supplies Hire and meet with new staff for program orientation Financial and Date Collection: Supervise, maintain, and monitor the School Readiness budget with the ECFS manager Establish, analyze and maintain financial and class records for School Readiness Maintain program evaluation system and reports to ECFS Manager Ensure all information needed to complete reports required by the state are complete and submitted in a timely manner Support assessment of children’s progress with teachers on a semi-annual basis. Coordinate program evaluation Marketing and Registration: Provide accurate information and good customer relations through written and verbal communication Collaborate with ECFS office and Families First for recruitment, intake and enrollment Work with ECFS office to creates marketing materials for School Readiness Program Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Rochester ECFS and Families First School Readiness staff Communicate program progress and direction. Attend staff meetings and in-services and community meetings as assigned Communicate constructively and effectively with and among staff members Work as team with program manager, office staff and ECFS staff Meet expectations for professional growth goals and hours Additional duties within the level of responsibility of position may be assigned by the manager or director

Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for budget control, budget review, budget reporting, and budget forecasting activities of the District. Assumes responsibility for many reports that need to be filed with Minnesota Department of Education as well as seasonal project specific work like the annual external audit, internal expenditure audits, the long-range financial forecast, the actuarial study, and union negotiation costing. Job Summary: Assists in the preparation of the District budget, gathers historical data and departmental requests, performs budget analysis, gathers benchmarks and measurement data, and assists in the preparation of the budget publication. Reviews preliminary financial and grant applications of departments for accuracy. Performs grant revenue and expenditure analysis. Completes required state and federal grant financial reporting. Compiles financial and statistical reports for state agencies and for the annual external audit of the District’s financial statements. Assist in the internal audit of site and District financial records. Compiles monthly financial reports for various departments and School Board review and approval. Identifies, develops, and implements internal process improvement using technology tools to improve internal controls and communication. Obtains supervisory approval on significant changes. Approve or deny budget transfers and revisions as well as approve or deny purchase requisitions, credit card transactions, and check requests according to Federal or State Statutes and District policies and procedures. Communicates, performs training, and ensures proper internal controls with sites and departments pertaining to accounting functions, ensuring compliance with School Board policies, GAAP, GASB statements, and UFARS. Perform other duties as assigned in the Business Services area.

Vocal Music Teacher 1.0 FTE
