Principal for STEAM School – Grades 5 – 6

The Austin Public School District is currently seeking to hire a Principal for IJ Holton Intermediate School, which is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) School. The assignment will begin 7/1/2016. Leadership responsibilities at STEAM Intermediate school: *Supervise staff to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations, ensuring staff are trained, ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures, and maintain a health and safe working environment; and making hiring, termination and disciplinary recommendations. *Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school and prioritizes the needs and maintenance of the School. *Coordinate activities of the school through various committees, teams and external stakeholders. *Administer and monitor the Intermediate School budget including allocating resources and approving expenditures. *Implement School objectives and goals as directed by the Board and Superintendent. *Oversee and coordinate the student disciplinary process which includes attendance, trades, chemical violations, in-school suspensions, suspensions and expulsions. *Facilitate meetings to develop and discuss Intermediate School programs, curriculums, budgets, staffing and other matters related to the overall performance and day-to-day operations of Intermediate School. *Perform other duties of similar nature and level.

Assistant Principal (Preschool – Grade 8)

Rochester Catholic Schools (Minnesota)is seeking an Assistant Principal for St. John the Evangelist/St. Pius X School (Preschool-Grade 8) Position Summary: Perform varied administrative functions including, but not limited to: supporting and helping direct the administration and delivery of the educational program; overseeing elementary curriculum and curriculum-related schedules and events; registration and recruitment protocols and procedures; oversight and direction for academic record keeping and major academic-related events; ensuring the delivery of District #535 services: and serving as a liaison with the Minnesota Nonpublic School Accrediting Association; supervising and administering attendance and discipline policies; consultations with parents/guardians relative to students experiencing adjustment problems of all kinds: involving counseling expertise related to attendance/discipline issues; and other areas as delegated by the Principal. Receptionist/Secretary

RECEPTIONIST/SECRETARY – St. Francis of Assisi School (Preschool-Grade 8), Rochester Catholic Schools, Minnesota Qualified candidates will be responsible for greeting visitors and callers, answering telephones, and performing general clerical support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling calendar appointments, process and document material and supply orders, preparation and distribution of forms, various recordkeeping and data entry duties. Position typically involves sitting, reaching, standing and some light lifting (<20 lbs). Position is seasonal (30+ hours).
