Position Summary:
Under the direction and guidance of the Executive Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing daily administrative, secretarial assistance, and support to the Human Resources Department. The Human Resource Generalist coordinates specific office functions associated with the Human Resources Department and provides support for associated staff.
- Administers the Frontline Recruiting & Hiring online employment application system and Absence Management system.
- Maintains and updates files for personnel records, correspondence, and onboarding.
- Maintains and updates files for personnel reports, policies, contracts, forms, and systems.
- Assists Director of Human Resources with employee leave processing.
- Point of contact with PELSB for all teacher licensure applications and questions.
- Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.

The special education teacher needed for this position will be licensed or licensable as an Academic Behavior Strategist, and will provide specialized instruction for students with mild to moderate disabilities (LD, OHD, ASD, or EBD) as part of a team of educators.
