Licensed Practical Nurse – Lincoln Elementary School

Summary of Position:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) serves as the subject matter expert in general health related areas in the educational school setting.  LPN’s working for Faribault Public Schools provide care to students with health needs, refer students to outside providers and assist with screenings and prevention of communicable diseases. The position commences immediately upon hire. LPN’s are employed full-time for 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week between late August and early June; serving Lincoln Elementary School. Full-time (1.0 FTE) School Social Worker

Job Description:   Full-Time (1.0 fTE) School Social Worker at the Faribault Area Learning Center.  Provides developmental and supportive counseling services to students. Consults with teachers and administrators to assist in developing interventions and alternatives to facilitate student’s academic performance and emotional adjustment. Liaison between school and home to ensure appropriate transition of students. This position commences on August 21, 2023 with the 2023-2024 school year.

Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities. The school district currently serves approximately 3,700 students in Faribault and our surrounding areas within our community of 23,000 citizens within the city limits.
