Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Music, Vocal Teacher – Faribault Middle School

Job Description:  Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Middle School Vocal Teacher. Responsibilities include curricular choirs in grades 6, 7, 8 with three formal concerts yearly, general music class, and voice lessons.  Additional collaborative performances and events may be scheduled throughout the year, with the option to expand extra-curricular ensembles.

We are looking for a candidate who is willing to work collaboratively as part of a team of choir directors and a K-12 music department.  The qualified candidate should have linking knowledge on current Minnesota state standards, proficient piano skills, demonstrated success working with middle school aged voices, excellent classroom management skills, and a strong desire to perform diverse choral music.  This position commences with the 2023-2024 school year on August 21, 2023

Licensed Practical Nurse

Summary of Position:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) serves as the subject matter expert in general health related areas in the educational school setting.  LPN’s working for Faribault Public Schools provide care to students with health needs, refer students to outside providers and assist with screenings and prevention of communicable diseases. The positions commence immediately upon hire. LPN’s are employed full-time for 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week between late August and early June; serving Jefferson Elementary School. Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary:

Under the direction and guidance of the Executive Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing daily administrative, secretarial assistance, and support to the Human Resources Department.  The Human Resource Generalist coordinates specific office functions associated with the Human Resources Department and provides support for associated staff.

  • Administers the Frontline Recruiting & Hiring online employment application system and Absence Management system.
  • Maintains and updates files for personnel records, correspondence, and onboarding.
  • Maintains and updates files for personnel reports, policies, contracts, forms, and systems.
  • Assists Director of Human Resources with employee leave processing.
  • Point of contact with PELSB for all teacher licensure applications and questions.
  • Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.

Special Education Teacher
