Job Description: 1.0 FTE EL Teacher – Roosevelt. The ESL teacher will be working with students at the elementary level. The teacher will be providing English language development instruction to students who are emerging multilingual learners. The teacher will be working with students at various levels of English proficiency and in different instructional modalities. The teacher will be running basic language development classes for lower leveled students, and doing a combination of pushing and co-teaching for higher leveled students. The teacher is expected to collaborate with the grade level content teachers to support the development of multilingual learners in their most advantageous learning environment. This position commences with the 2023-24 School Year on August 21, 2023.

Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Music, Vocal Teacher – Faribault Middle School
Job Description: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Middle School Vocal Teacher. Responsibilities include curricular choirs in grades 6, 7, 8 with three formal concerts yearly, general music class, and voice lessons. Additional collaborative performances and events may be scheduled throughout the year, with the option to expand extra-curricular ensembles.
We are looking for a candidate who is willing to work collaboratively as part of a team of choir directors and a K-12 music department. The qualified candidate should have linking knowledge on current Minnesota state standards, proficient piano skills, demonstrated success working with middle school aged voices, excellent classroom management skills, and a strong desire to perform diverse choral music. This position commences with the 2023-2024 school year on August 21, 2023
Licensed Practical Nurse
Summary of Position:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) serves as the subject matter expert in general health related areas in the educational school setting. LPN’s working for Faribault Public Schools provide care to students with health needs, refer students to outside providers and assist with screenings and prevention of communicable diseases. The positions commence immediately upon hire. LPN’s are employed full-time for 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week between late August and early June; serving Jefferson Elementary School.
