Cybersecurity Analyst
POSITION AVAILABLE: Cybersecurity Analyst
POSITION LOCATION: Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) with placement in the Marshall, MN or Windom, MN office locations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of securing various technology systems through continuous assessment and analysis of data pertinent to enhancing cybersecurity posture. The Cybersecurity Analyst will work on multiple projects related to the SWWC Cybersecurity Service offerings and must be able to assess, analyze and present the state of cybersecurity risks, posture, and maturity to technical teams as well as leadership. The position will further be required to assess risks and advise on security standards, best practices, and solutions to ensure that instructional and enterprise technology infrastructures operate reliably and as securely as possible.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides leadership and assists member districts in implementing special education services for students birth to age 21; in conformance to District, State and Federal objectives; serves as a resource to SWWC and school personnel; maintains adequate staffing to ensure objectives of programs and services are achieved within budget.

Network Support Specialist
POSITION LOCATION: Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) with placement in Marshall or Windom, MN areas.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Network Support Specialist provides local and wide area network design, support and maintenance to ensure that the networks utilized by SWWC Service Cooperative and our membership are running at their peak performance while ensuring adequate security controls and reliability for end-user and enterprise resources. The Network Support Specialist is an instrumental member or the SWWC network services team.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Provides management of network equipment including the implementation of network designs, configuration of network topologies and updates to network equipment;
· Provides end-user support as it relates to network connectivity issues or concerns;
· Actively participates in the development and design of network systems that adequately support 21st Century Learning Environments and enterprise class network operations;
· Actively models practices and activities that demonstrate the highest regards for cybersecurity, and participates in building a culture of respect for and mitigation of cybersecurity threats in daily work;
· Participates in a cohesive support structure with network and technology support teams at SWWC and contracting entities;
· Installs and configures new network equipment when necessary, ensuring that upgrades are performed with impeccable end-user notification and communications, while sustaining optimal up-time;
· Maintains thorough documentation and schematics of supported network environments.
· Monitors and proactively troubleshoots network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime;
· Provides support of VOIP telephony and video conferencing systems;
· Provides support of firewall, IDS, IPS and other critical network security infrastructure.
