Success Coach – 2026-2027 School Year

Job Summary:

The Success Coach will collaborate with school administrators and college partners regarding Grow Your Own scholarship recipient awards and classroom placements. The Success Coach will maintain consistent communication with Grow Your Own scholarship recipients to connect them with college support services and help reduce barriers that impact student success. This position will also support family engagement efforts and/or promote culturally responsive practices throughout NCIC member districts.

The employee must demonstrate strong communication, organization, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Bilingual skills are welcome. This is a part-time position requiring 14-16 hours per week, during the school year.

Middle School Educational Paraprofessionals – 2026–2027 School Year

Job Summary:

ISD 518 is seeking dedicated Educational Paraprofessionals to support students at the middle school level for the the 2026–2027 school year.

Under the direction of licensed teachers and building administration, Educational Paraprofessionals assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs in the classroom and school setting. Responsibilities may include supporting individual students or small groups, assisting with classroom activities, providing redirection and encouragement, helping students build independence, and performing related duties as assigned.

 

Educational Paraprofessionals are placed based on student needs and building needs and may support students in a variety of classroom or school settings. They work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and administration to help create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

 

Job Qualification:

High school diploma or GED required. Must meet paraprofessional qualification requirements through college coursework, a college degree, or successful completion of the ParaEducator Assessment upon hire.

Qualifications: Valid State of Minnesota License in Special Education

Salary Range:  $54,153 – $109,599 for a 184-day contract at a 1.0 FTE. Salary will be prorated based on contract days in assignment and FTE, education and experience. Salary and benefits pursuant to the Chaska Education Association (CEA) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).

Evening Childcare Paraprofessional – part-time – 2026-2027 School Year

Job Summary:

Early childhood paraprofessional to provide childcare for children whose parents attend Adult Basic Education classes.  This part-time position will be two or three evenings a week 5:45-8 p.m.. Children in childcare can range from infants to age 12.  Paraprofessionals provide childcare, play with the children and may provide homework assistance for school-aged children. Bilingual skills preferred.
