Director of Instruction

Job Summary:

The Director of Instruction will provide leadership and vision in the areas of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment with ongoing planning, implementation, development, direction, review and evaluation of the district’s curriculum and instructional services, federal programs, career and technical education services, assessment, research, and evaluation services.
The Director ensures that the district/school education objectives (school improvement plans) are aligned to the state frameworks and supports instructional practices that yield the highest standards of student achievement and instructional excellence.
The Director of Instruction reports to the Superintendent and participates as a member of the administrative team. Minimum starting salary: $120,000 negotiable based on experience.

LPN (or RN) School Nurse

Under the direction of the School Nurse, provides skilled nursing services, nursing treatments, health education, evaluation, health screening services, medication administration, and the maintenance of health records within the building of assignment and in accordance with district policies and procedures determined by the School Nurse.

School Psychologist (2 positions)

Under the direction of the Building Principal the School Psychologist is responsible for providing a full range of psychological services to support the academic and behavioral competence of students (ages birth to twenty-one), parents, and staff in one or more sites in the Willmar Public Schools. The School Psychologist is responsible to serve as a member of the Special Education Assessment Team (SEAT) for the proper interpretation and performance of essential duties and responsibilities.
