Worthington Middle School is looking for two EL teachers to fill our out team of eight EL teachers serving grades 5-8. Candidates should be able to serve students through push-in, pull-out, and co-teaching methods.  They should also be familiar with SIOP, be able to work in a team environment, and be licensed to teach EL in the state of Minnesota (or able to attain such license). Applicants should also be familiar with the use of iPads in the classroom.

Art Teacher

Worthington School District 518 is seeking an Art Teacher at the Learning Center.  Candidates should exhibit a passion for working with students from 7th -12th grade, as well as the ability to collaborate with art colleagues.  Expectations include, but are not limited to, developing students’ interests, talents and skills for artistic expression and creativity in the visual arts. Starting salary is $45,000.

Professional Learning Facilitator

Position Summary
The Professional Learning Facilitator supports the advancement of teacher practice and development in alignment with the district and school improvement plans.

This position will coordinate district level professional learning for staff which includes but is not limited to: facilitating the district staff development team, managing peer coaches processes and protocols, developing and organizing Southwest Teacher Partnership Preparation professional learning, supporting school improvement efforts, and supporting the use of data for instructional purposes.

This is a teacher on special assignment (TOSA) position with ISD 518. See attachment for position description.
