Assistant Principal/Targeted Services Coordinator

Worthington District 518 Schools is seeking an Assistant Elementary School Principal/Targeted Services Coordinator at Prairie Elementary School.  Start date: August 1, 2021. Applicants should demonstrate skills and abilities in educational leadership, interpersonal relations, communication and technology.  Candidates must have effective skills in working with a culturally diverse student body.  Primary responsibilities include:  building assessment site coordination, after school and alternative learning opportunities, and staff evaluations. Preference will be given to candidates with background and experiences in curriculum/instruction and data/assessment.

Salary will be as per the Administrative Master Agreement. Physical Education Teacher
Worthington School District 518 is seeking a Physical Education teacher at Prairie Elementary (K-4th grade) starting in August of the 2021-22 school year. Applicants must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license in the content area. Coaching certification is also preferred.
Job Summary: To develop students’ physical skills and abilities, strength, agility, poise, coordination and teamwork, and to develop students’ understanding of the importance of exercise to physical and mental well-being, and to motivate students to work towards physical fitness, hygiene and good health. Candidates should have experience working with a diverse student population, collaboration, and strong instructional and classroom management skills.
